As a non-governmental organization, OWDEB has a set of principles and objectives it follows. Our objectives, which are a corollary to our principles serve as guidelines for all our programs. They ensure the nature of development projects of OWDEB from plans to implementation.

To foster social harmony with respect of human rights protesting all kinds of violence against women , OWDEB`s sustainability is structured with following resources :

OWDEB believes that its General and executive Committee, Staffs, all community stakeholders like Community people, Local Government, educational institute, civil society representative, all network etc. are basic resources to enhance development work for a better gender just society in Bangladesh.
 
Governance System of OWDEB :
OWDEB is governed by an Executive Committee, consisting of seven members and elected by a General Committee of 21 members according to OWDEB’s Constitution.

The Executive Committee formulates the organizational and financial principles of the organization and the Chief Executive oversees the proper management of the organization.
